Danu is the ancient Goddess of the land and water, the mother goddess of the Tuatha De Danaan amongst other gifts she blesses us with love, abundance and prosperity, in this non-residential retreat we create the possibility of allowing more flow of these qualities into our lives and therefore open to offering to others too.
During this weekend of community, adventure and receiving through ritual, movement, gentle healing work, art and more, we work with our ancestral lineage inviting healing for any entanglements effecting us now, clearing blocks to receiving, take a sacred guided tour to the megalithic site of Carrowkeel to meet the great Goddess Danu, relaxing after with a beautiful soundbath followed by a ritual of gratitude at our local holy well and movement, dance and constellations. On Sunday morning we take a silent mindful walk to Keash caves for personal contemplation and recalibration of our lifes journey creating a unique and personal totem of Danu through connection to this sacred landscape. Included in the retreat fee are 2 dinners and lunches, all refreshments, workshops, tours and other activities including soundbath. We will car pool to Carrowkeel, please note the terrain can be rough and appropriate clothing and footwear is advised. Accommodation is available locally, the Coach House hotel is in Ballymote as is a train station.
